How do I sign up for training?

Simply select the package and available date which will best fit your schedule, add it to your cart, complete your booking with payment via EFT or Payfast, and that’s it. We will be in contact within 2 days after payment was made. Please note that no bookings will be confirmed before payment is received.

How does the payment process work?

Full payment will book your spot. Contact us at info@udoo.co.za for other arrangements (Groups only).

Do I need my own laptop?

Using your own laptop is recommended, but we do have laptops you can rent. Unfortunately this is not included in the training package cost. Rented laptops may not leave the premises and will be ready for you at the next session. No data will be lost.

Do I need to know any coding or scripting languages like HTML, CSS or PHP?

No, and that is the beauty of it all. Any coding knowledge or skills will help, but is by no means a requirement.

Can I work on my website in between sessions?

Yes you may work on your website. Please note that we follow a training path and cannot steer away from that path, so if you are ahead the trainer cannot jump topics to catch up, unless you are signed up for an individual session.

I am scared of falling behind as I don’t have any experience with web design.

No need to worry, we follow a training path and never steer away from that path. Our paths are designed to accommodate all individuals and patience is the name of the game. The trainer will make sure everyone is on the same page before moving on.

Is there an exam to be written?

We are here to assist in getting your website up and running and train you on the CMS, not to test you on what you have learnt. The website you build is the project you can critique yourself on. If you really want to test yourself or need a certificate you can go to https://nwcconline.org/ and schedule an exam, unfortunately the cost of the exam is not included in the training costs.

Will I get a manual to use?

Yes, a manual in both printed and pdf format will be supplied on your first training day. The manual is yours to keep.

Do I need a domain name and hosting to build my website on?

No, we register your domain and set up your hosting based on the details supplied in the sign up document you get once you book your training. If you do have a domain you wish to use we can accommodate, but you will just need to make sure it meets the requirements specified in the sign up document (received after booking confirmation). Your domain will be used for the website you will be building.

If we set up your domain and hosting you will receive 2 months free hosting, after which you can choose to cancel it, or take over payment.

Domain registration and hosting costs(optional):
Registration: Free
Hosting: 1st two months free  -R99/month from there on.

Does Udoo offer support after training is complete?

We are working on a support forum which will be available for all Udoo clients. So soon there will be a Udoo community where trainers and clients will be able to communicate freely.
