Why WordPress?

There’s a wide and confusing variety of CMS (content management system) platforms available. So we took a deep look into the usability, functionality, customizability, security, and support of the top offerings available..

Even though each CMS has big positives, and some negatives, we feel WordPress is hands-down the best platform to work with. It’s our favourite, not least because:

  • WordPress is very well supported by its community, which makes it a growing beast.
  • Functionality is just about endless – a wide variety of plugins are released on a weekly, if not daily, basis, to help enhance your base platform.
  • Support and updates on plugins stay up-to-date and compatible with the latest version of WordPress.
  • Plugins can be downloaded from the Internet and installed immediately. Some are free and some are available to be purchased on websites like codecanyon.com.

WordPress Themes

The themes developed for WordPress come with a variety of options to make your website look exactly as you want it to. No need to worry your website will have the same look and layout as everyone else, because you keep full control over the design of your website.

WordPress themes make website building really easy. Just like plugins, some are free and some come at a cost. But to create a specific look and layout some customization can be made with page builders like Visual Composer, which we include in our workshops.

Easy Website-Building

WordPress offers the best combination of usability and user-friendliness – so managing your content is a breeze once you know how it works. Anything from adding a new page to inserting text and images, adding blog posts, creating a contact form or inserting a dynamic graphic slider is an easy process. And WordPress is getting easier to use with just about every updated version.

Dependable Security

WordPress website security is upgraded regularly to keep the latest versions safe from hackers or malicious scripts. And keeping a WordPress website updated is a simple process: an auto-update can be set up to automatically keep your website up-to-date. Moreover, in addition to the security within the CMS itself, various plugins can be installed to keep your website even safer.

There is so much more to WordPress, and it’s getting bigger and better all the time. Read more here – https://wordpress.org/about.
